Cherry router table

The local mill had some cherry boards 2”, 3”, and a few 4” X 3/4” about 3’ long the cost? ... FREE!!! ... Made for a lot of gluing but it turned out well and cherry always looks good. Cannot find any of the gluing up pictures. Used plywood for the back. Nothing fancy just plain box construction. Will need to make a better top and fence later on ...

Why do these stores do this to us unsuspecting customers. I went into my local, cheap tool, place to find a grinding disc. I came out with 2 more 24” quick grip clamps, a diamond sharpening file, 4 power magnifying reading glasses, 70% OFF regular price. Most of the store yesterday was 70% OFF ... Do these stores not know I am a weak customer, I buy things ON sale even if I don’t need them ? Hang a little red or yellow tag saying ON SALE and its like a magnet, just draws me in ... I do think

Harbor Freight Dovetail jig

I have been wanting to get a dovetail jig for sometime now. I was up against a brick wall however. Do I fork over the bucks for a Porter Cable jig or do I buy a cheaper jig and see if it does the job for less money. I have tried this type of approach many times with many tools. Most of the time I have went on to pay for the better quality tool as well as the cheaper tool that did not work. This is not one of those times ...
