Well, as everyone knows, I have the new Work Sharp 3000 sharpening system in place. I have been touching up my new chisels, my old chisels, my carving chisels, and my turning chisels. Whenever I hear people mention the “scary sharp” method, they describe how they run a chisel across an area where there is hair, and if the hair comes off, the chisel is “scary sharp.” I have been doing that over and over again and all the chisels seem to be sharp enough, but I still feel like I am missing something. Maybe somebody can help me?
...Thanks everyone!
